Tres hombres fueron asesinados durante un lapso de nueve horas comprendido entre las 3:30 p. m. del miércoles y las 12:30 a. m. de este jueves. Dos crímenes ocurrieron en el cantón de San José y el otro en San Isidro de Alajuela.
El Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) informó de que el primero de los hechos sucedió el miércoles a las 3:30 p.m. en avenida 5, calle 6 y 8, en una zona del centro de San José conocida como tierra dominicana.
La víctima fue identificada como Genaro Felipe Adams Monjarrez, de 61 años. Este hombre iba caminando por la acera en dirección a un parqueo, donde tenía estacionado su carro, cuando se aproximó de frente un individuo que le disparó en dos ocasiones.

El fallecido, quien era oriundo de Limón, vivía en Alajuelita y se dedicaba al comercio. De acuerdo con la información policial, desde 1980 registra antecedentes. Ha sido pasado en 81 ocasiones por delitos contra la propiedad, daños y venta de drogas.
Ataque en la casa
Este jueves, a las 00:05 a.m. en Calle Loría de San Isidro de Alajuela, un sujeto llegó a la casa de Alejandro Gómez Hidalgo, de 21 años, y lo mató de un balazo.
Xinia Zamora, vocera de prensa del OIJ, dijo que dentro de la vivienda estaba la compañera sentimental del fallecido y dos menores, quienes resultaron ilesos.
Los testigos dijeron a las autoridades que el individuo que cometió el asesinato primero llamó por su nombre a Alejandro y cuando este abrió la puerta, de inmediato disparó. La víctima falleció en la sala de la casa.
El atacante escapó del lugar. Se desconoce si lo hizo a pie, en moto o en otro tipo de vehículo. Gómez no tenía profesión conocida y en varias ocasiones había sido investigado por venta de drogas.
Lanzaron cuerpo.
El último de los homicidios ocurrió a las 00:30 a. m. en el cruce de la carretera de Circunvalación con la ruta 27, en Pavas de San José, donde fue localizado el cuerpo de Álvaro José Inces Cerdas, de 24 años.
El cadáver estaba en el caño, amarrado de pies y manos con cinta adhesiva. También el rostro lo tenía cubierto con cinta. Los agentes del OIJ, al revisar el cuerpo, observaron dos heridas, una al lado derecho de la mejilla y otra en la espalda.
Sin embargo, en el lugar había 12 indicios balísticos entre casquillos y balas, dijo Christian Luna. Esto hace presumir que el asesinato se produjo en ese mismo sitio.
Asimismo, en el cuerpo encontraron una cédula de identidad. No había ninguna otra pertenencia. El fallecido era vecino de Hatillo 8 en San José y antes había sido detenido por delitos contra la propiedad. No se le conocía oficio.
Para las autoridades judiciales, por las características de los tres asesinatos, se podría tratar de ajustes de cuentas o venganzas.
